This "shining star" was purchased for my 8 year old granddaughter. It is her second one. She named him "Gary" I think from sponge bob pet. She loves and and was very excited upon receiving it. She has a special place in her room for it and is looking forward to another. This shining star snail rates a AAA+++ Great product.

We bought this snail and other not-so-typical animals for our daughter to teach her like flashcards, but in a more fun and interesting way. It's much fun to pick up a toy and tell her what it is, and watch her try to mimic what we say.
I also love the fact that we name stars after her whenever we give her a shining stars animal. That's truly a gift that lasts a lifetime!
